Mr. Govind Shrikhande,
Chairman and Non-Executive Director

Mr. Govind Shrikhande is a Chairman and Non-Executive Director of our Company since March 5, 2012. Presently, he is a Managing Director of Shoppers Stop Ltd. 

He started his association with Shoppers Stop as the Vice President of Buying & Merchandising function and has since grown managing roles of the Chief Operating Officer before taking over charge as the CEO. Mr. Shrikhande has a rich experience of the Textiles, Apparel and Retail industry. Before joining Shoppers Stop Ltd, Govind has been associated with Mafatlal and Johnson & Johnson in the past. He was part of the team that launched Arvind Denim & Arrow. Mr. Shrikhande has also worked with Bombay Dyeing.

Yasin Virani,
Non-Executive Director

Mr. Yasin Virani, is the Non-Executive Director of our Company. He is a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Bombay and Chartered Accountant. Presently, he is Director - Corporate Finance - Tax & Accounts with K Raheja Corp. He has experience in the field of corporate matters including accounts and other related law sectors with an expertise in corporate strategies and structuring. Mr. Virani has been a key contributor to the growth of K Raheja Corp over the last two decades. He has approximately 25 years of total experience and started his career with K Raheja Corp.

Ms. Ameesha Prabhu,
Independent and Non-Executive Director

Ms. Ameesha Prabhu, is an Independent and Non-Executive Director of our Company. She is a Chief Executive Officer of Trust for Retailers and Retail Associates of India (TRRAIN) and shoulders the responsibility of nurturing all the initiatives of TRRAIN.

She started her career in retail over 22 years ago. Her hands-on experience at various department and specialty stores, lifestyle and value formats have given her an in-depth understanding of the Buying & Merchandising function, along with end-to-end Category Management. She has also acquired holistic perspective of various retail businesses, their financials & profitability criteria’s. She has lead a large team of category managers & has worked in various departments starting from apparels, accessories, books, music, stationery & general merchandise. She has worked with leading organizations such as Tesco Hindustan Wholesaling Ltd, Aditya Birla Retail, Crossword Bookstores, Swatch Group and Shoppers Stop Ltd. She specializes in range and product development including private labels (sourced nationally & internationally), assortment planning & understanding the retail customer. She also has been a functional expert in Retail ERP- JDA, SAP & Oracle Retail.

Her understanding of the retail environment, as well as her empathy with the front-end associates, is the result of her personal journey from the shop floor to being the Head of Buying. At TRRAIN, she is a role model and mentor to the enthusiastic, young team. She relishes opportunities to share her insights with aspiring retail professionals and entrepreneurs.

Mr. Prashant Mehta,

Non-Executive Director 

Mr. Prashant Mehta, is the Non-Executive Director of our Company. Presently, he is Vice President, Legal & Company Secretary of Shoppers Stop Ltd. He has done his graduation in Commerce and Law and a Member of The Institute of Company Secretaries of India, New Delhi. He has more than 35 years of experience in legal and Secretarial field and has worked in the past in leading Companies like Premier Ltd, PAL-Peugeot, JSW. Currently he heads the legal and Secretarial functions of the Shoppers Stop Group of Companies, a part of K Raheja Corp Group, since the year 2001.

He is also Hon Gen Secretary of Sadhana Education Society which conducts the L.S Raheja College of Arts & Commerce, K.K. College of Education, Pre-primary, Primary and Secondary Schools, he is also a member of the Legal and Advocacy Committee of the Retailer Association of India (RAI).

Mr. Manohar Kamath, 

Non-Executive Director

Mr. Manohar Kamath, is the Non-Executive Director of our Company. Presently, he is Chief of Retail Operations of Shoppers Stop Ltd. He joined Shoppers Stop as Head of Operations in 2008 and has since grown as the Chief of Retail Operation. Before joining Shoppers Stop, Mr. Kamath has been associated with Globus Stores Pvt Ltd, Arvind Mills Ltd ,Cornerstone Brands Ltd and Elbee Services. He also has extensive and all-round exposure of Operations, Administration Maintenance & Visual Merchandising. Mr. Kamath is a Post Graduate-Diploma in Business Management from TAPMI.
